- Flicks for the Seoul: View "Knots" and "Instant Slapping" at Gene Siskel Film Center in Chicago. There are limited tickets available for this dinner and movie event. Tickets can be bought for $16 online and $20 at the door.

2012 Scholarship Competition: The Art of Storytelling
- Hosted by the Next Generation Board of the Korean Cultural Center of Chicago and Sponsored by the Steve Kang Scholarship Fund
- The Scholarship Competition seeks to promote cultural diversity and supports college/university students by providing a scholarship to offset tuition costs. This year's competition will focus on the Art of Storytelling. Storytelling is a form of communication that has been shared in every culture as a means of entertainment, education, and cultural preservation. Contemporary storytelling draws from personal narrative, political commentary, and evolving cultural norms. The best stories have the power to captivate, convince, convert, move, motivate, and mold. Share your story so that your legacy can be preserved.

- Time: 7-8:30 PM
- Description: The Korean Cultural Center is proud to offer the Leadership Development Program for Young Professionals. The program is designed to help professionals early in their career develop key leadership skills that are critical to success in today's competitive business environment. Learn, engage and network with other young professionals in a casual setting that fosters collaboration. The 8 week program includes classes on the following critical leadership skills: goal setting, personal leadership brand, personal productivity, relationship development, effective communication, creative problem solving, innovation, and networking.

4300-year Pictorial History of Korea and Artifacts
We are very thankful to have received several donations for the museum. They are displayed throughout the museum and can be viewed anytime during KCC's hours.
NOTE: Group visits and field trips are welcome! *Special Exhibition in the KCC Community Hall Learn about King Sejong, History of the Korean Alphabet, Yi Sun-Sin and the Geobukseon (Turtle Ship), Dokdo Island, and the East Sea. |

- One entry per person
- Theme of the writing competition is cultural identity
- Deadline is April 7, 2012

Wheeling International Fest 2012
- Saturday, June 23rd, 11am-6pm
- Located at the beautiful campus of the Korean Cultural Center of Chicago at 9940
- Capitol Drive in Wheeling, just west of Wolf Road and facing Palatine Road
- Tented event to bring 5,000+/- visitors to experience food, drink, entertainment and wares from dozens of international cultures in one family-friendly location
