Greetings from KCCoC President

- Dear Friends,
Culture is the insightful representation of its people and their characteristics. As people, cultural exchange is a way to understand the differences in core value between diverse groups of people, as well as a way to embrace those differences and to learn to coexist for a better world.
This is truer than ever in this global era connected through digital media and mobile devices. In this new era, the vision of Korean Cultural Center of Chicago is to be a convergent place for many different cultures to cross their paths.
This year again, we are trying to fulfill this vision, not only as a central stage for the exchange and networking of Korean and American culture, but also as a primary connection point to learn about unique Korean heritage for young and old alike, lest it be neglected and forgotten.
Our future generations will flourish if they have a better understanding of their heritage and have pride in their own cultural identity. I hope Korean Cultural Center of Chicago will commit even more to this role in years ahead, so that many young Korean-Americans will become more contributing members of this global society.
Thank you to all who care so deeply about this Center including fellow Korean Americans and friends of Korean culture from around the world. Thank you for continuing to connect with us through our website, and we wish you all the best going forward.
Eugene Kim
