2012년 장학금 프로그램: “이야기의 기술”

  • 스티브 강 장학재단의 후원으로 시카고 한인문화회관 차세대 위원회에서 주최하는 2012년 장학금 프로그램을 소개합니다. 이번 작품 공모전은 대학에 재학중이거나 진학을 앞둔 학생들을 대상으로 문화적 다양성을 증진시키기 위한 목적으로 실시되며 수상자에게는 장학금이 수여될 예정입니다. 올해의 장학금 프로그램의 주제는 ‘이야기의 기술’입니다. ‘이야기’란 모든 문화권에서 널리 사용되어온 의사소통의 한 수단으로, 여흥, 교육, 그리고 문화의 전달 방법으로 널리 전해져 오고 있습니다. 현대의 이야기는 개인의 서술, 정치적  논평, 표준화된 문화의 형태 등 다양한 방법으로 표현되고 있습니다. 가장 좋은 이야기는 읽는 이와 듣는 이의 흥미를 끌 수 있고 설득할 수 있으며 생각을 바꿀 수 있고 행동하게 하며 동기를 부여하고 무언가를 형성할 수 있는 것입니다. 여러분의 문화유산이 뜻깊게 보존되도록 이야기를 나누어 보시기 바랍니다.

  • Description: The Korean Cultural Center is proud to offer the Leadership Development Program for Young Professionals.  The program is designed to help professionals early in their career develop key leadership skills that are critical to success in today's competitive business environment.  Learn, engage and network with other young professionals in a casual setting that fosters collaboration.  The 8 week program includes classes on the following critical leadership skills: goal setting, personal leadership brand, personal productivity, relationship development, effective communication, creative problem solving, innovation, and networking.
